Alexandre has over 25 years of experience in the financial institutions sector, primarily as a senior advisor, director and shareholder of several successful financial services firms. Alexandre is a Director at ACS, a credit investment company which focuses on servicing insurance companies. He is a former shareholder of Harbourmaster Capital, one of the leading European loan and CLO managers subsequently sold to Blackstone/GSO.
Alexandre has also previously set up a number of asset management and credit platforms including a large corporate sale and lease back fund, a European SME lender and mortgages platforms.
He is a seasoned Private Equity and Real Estate investor and holds interests in health care, technology, media as well as several hotel assets.
Alexandre has also held various roles with major investment banks, including UBS and Credit Suisse. He acted as the Senior Adviser for Belgium at HSBC and Merrill Lynch & Co., where he began his career in FIG in the early 1990's. Alexandre graduated from the Brussels University (ULB-Solvay) and is a Belgian National.
Christian is a Director of ACS and chairs ACS’s Audit Committee. He was previously Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Groupama S.A. until 2015 when he joined ACS. He spent 15 years at Groupama, and was previously Chief Finance & Risk Officer for the group.
Throughout his career in the insurance industry, he was in charge of various departments such as Finance, Audit, Corporate Secretary, Strategy & Marketing, Human Resources, Legal Affairs, Tax and Logistics. Beforehand, he spent 18 years at Gan, a French insurer which merged with Groupama in 2000.
He previously worked at the Bank of Economic development of Tunisia. Christian has also served as a Director of Mediobanca Banca di Credito Finanziario S.p.A and as a Director of Cegid Group SA. Christian is a graduate of Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris and the Franco-German Chamber of Commerce.
Marcel is a Director of ACS and chairs ACS’s ALM Committee. He works with ACS to promote best practice and specifically in its auditing and financial reporting aspects. Marcel has over 25 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry and worked at various groups such as Axa, PartnerRe and Scor where he served as CFO and MACSF where he was CEO until 2014.
In each of these roles he significantly improved the financial situation and robustness of the groups he led. Marcel has also been member and chairman of various leading association in the insurance space such as the AMICE and the AFA.
Marcel has also been a Senior Advisor at Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) since January 2015 and is a member of the Montaigne Institute, a leading French think-tank which gathers some of the most prominent figures of the social and economic spheres in France.
